Getting Started with KlavX

Welcome to KlavX — the fastest way to connect your Lightspeed Retail X POS with Klaviyo for smarter email marketing and better customer data.

This guide walks you through everything you need to get set up in under 10 minutes.

1. What is KlavX?

KlavX is a simple integration tool that syncs your in-store customer and sales data from Lightspeed Retail X directly into Klaviyo.

This means:

• You can send email campaigns to your in-store customers

• Automate flows based on purchases made in-store

• Build segments combining online and offline behaviours

• Track real ROI from your POS data

No more manual exports or complicated API builds — just plug in and go.

2. How KlavX Works

KlavX works in the background to keep your systems in sync.

✅ Customer data: names, emails, phone numbers, and consent preferences
✅ Sales data: products, categories, brands, order values
✅ Sync frequency: every 15 minutes (default), or real-time (available soon)
✅ Duplicate protection: KlavX checks if a customer or sale already exists before syncing

3. Create Your Account & Log In

1. Go to https://www.klavx.com.au

2. Click Get Started and sign up

3. You’ll be sent login details via email

4. Log in at https://app.klavx.com.au/login

4. Connect Your Lightspeed Account

1. In your KlavX Dashboard, go to Integrations

2. Click Connect Lightspeed

3. Log in with your Lightspeed Retail X credentials

4. Authorise the connection

5. You’ll be redirected back to KlavX — your POS is now linked

5. Connect Your Klaviyo Account

1. Still in Integrations, click Connect Klaviyo

2. Enter your Klaviyo Public API Key

3. Authorise the connection

4. That’s it — KlavX will now start syncing your data

6. Set Up a Test Sync

You can test the sync with up to 10 customer profiles and sales events.

1. Go to your Dashboard

2. Click Start Sync

3. Watch your Klaviyo account as new profiles and events begin to appear

4. Check the "Recent Activity" tab to see sync logs

7. Ready to Go Live?

Once you’re happy with your test, upgrade your account to remove limits and unlock full syncing.
