KlavX is a data sync platform that integrates Lightspeed Retail X with Klaviyo, helping businesses improve their marketing automation using in-store customer and sales data.

📦 What Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

1. Account Information

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Business name

  • Login credentials (encrypted)

2. Integration Data

To sync data between Lightspeed and Klaviyo, we temporarily access:

  • Customer data (names, emails, phone numbers, consent flags)

  • Order data (products, brands, values, timestamps)

  • Store identifiers

We only collect data required to perform the sync.

3. Usage & Technical Data

  • Log data (IP address, browser, device info)

  • Sync activity (successes, failures, timestamps)

  • Error logs for troubleshooting

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the KlavX service

  • Sync data from Lightspeed Retail X to Klaviyo

  • End-to-end encryption during data transfer

  • OAuth-based secure connections to Lightspeed and Klaviyo

All data is stored in secure environments, and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

🤝 Third-Party Services

KlavX relies on integrations with:

  • Lightspeed Retail X (POS data provider)

  • Klaviyo (email marketing platform)

  • AWS or equivalent secure cloud infrastructure for hosting

We do not allow any third-party access to your data unless explicitly required to complete a sync or troubleshoot an issue.

🧼 Data Retention

  • Customer & Order Data: We do not store customer or order data long-term. It is cached temporarily only during sync.

  • Account & Log Data: Retained while your account is active, and up to 12 months after account closure for audit/security purposes.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@klavx.com.au

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data

  • Object to or restrict processing

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data authority
